Set in quiet Lamphun, Gassan Panorama began life as Gassan Marina in 2006 and was completely revamped for its 2017 re-opening by the Gassan Group team led by Pravit Reang-Po. The front nine plays relatively flat and welcoming, easing you into the round, while the back nine adds more elevation, bolder water carries, and clever bunkering. The headline act is the 666-yard par-6, a true endurance test running beside the lake where early strategy matters more than raw power. The 7th offers a postcard-perfect par-3 to a true island green, completely surrounded by water and reached by a slim bridge. On the back nine, a water-lined 12th with a narrow two-tiered green, the over-water par-3 17th framed by hills, and the dogleg par-5 18th into a heavily bunkered green create an exhilarating closing stretch.
